kawaii blogging tip: make your blog as unreadable as possible. all font is size 1.5 and only 1 shade darker than the background, which is still the same color anyways. set the blog language to a language like french or japanese, whichever one you don’t know. fetishize japan to the point it makes other people uncomfortable. set an invisible autoplay on your blog of some old anime closing theme and have it reset every time someone clicks “next page”

Been tinkering with the idea of a Monster Hunter monster version of Charizard. Maybe I’ll flesh this idea out more someday. You should pretend this this is like leaked concept art for Pokemonster Hunter if you show it to someone.

Juxtapositions of Derek Paul Boyle
The work of artist Derek Paul Boyle can often seem humorous. Everyday objects are presented in simple juxtapositions that can be pleasantly surprising. His work begins with suppositions, trusted concepts, and expectations and ‘plays’ with them. Boyle depicts the familiar from a different conceptual angle to make his subject matter new. He says:
“I am interested in the power of contradiction, objects as events, and incompatible states of the self – what was once bound is made free, the known made unknown. In a wavering step between angst and serenity, fear and pleasure, I want to give form to anxiety, a shape to tension.”

Pusheen the cat making some chemistry.
That cat is not wearing safety goggles, he hasn’t even bothered to clean up that spilled solvent, and he is holding that Erlenmeyer flask way to close to his face.
